ASTING TYPICAL FISH SPECIALTIES, LOOKING AT THE SEA

One of Apulia’s gems, Polignano a Mare, is one of the most beautiful Italian towns, with its historic stone ‘old town’ and its balconies overlooking the crystalline sea, visibly rich in Arabic, Byzantine, Spanish and Norman traces.

Enjoying typical dishes here, at table, or having a one-off picnic in one of the many typical, white- cobblestone coves (taking in the landscape), is an experience soothing both the heart and the soul.

Polignano was also famously home to Domenico Modugno, a singer world-renowned for his "Nel blu, dipinto di blu” (In blue painted blue) hit, and also Pino Pascali, a famous sculptor and artist to whom the homonymous Museum of Contemporary Art is dedicated.
